Care should be taken that the toothbrush to be used is not hard. Small size and soft-tipped toothbrushes should be used. Its use is not recommended because charged toothbrushes will cause a negative effect. Fluoride oral care waters and mouthwash should be used for effective hygiene. 

It is necessary to avoid all kinds of foods that may damage the braces or cause plaque formation. The use of products such as cigarettes and alcohol, which may cause oral infections, should be completely stopped or reduced. It is necessary to brush the teeth regularly 5-6 times a day, use dental floss, gargle twice a day and clean the plaque and tartar if any.
